Number 1 (one) was written throughout history by various styles and ways. Either as a vertical line | or as a little dot or bullet •.
Number one is a prime-number and that means number one has exactly two distinct natural number divisors: 1 and itself (also 1). Thereof some mathematicians had insisted that number one is not actually a number, but the root of all numbers, the root which inscribes all in it's singularity and fundamentality.
In ancient India, the number has been given the name Moon, because Moon is alone on the sky. In astrology, the number has been assigned to Sun.
The language of ancient India call the number eka, in Hellenic heis, in Latin unus, in old Slavic edin and in Gothic ains.
